I’m Dr Bahar Felton, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC, offering online therapy across the UK in a calm, compassionate and confidential space.
Many of my clients are capable and driven, yet live with an ongoing sense of pressure, self-doubt, or never quite feeling ‘good enough’. Over time, this can show up as anxiety, low mood, burnout, or a harsh inner critic. I also have a special interest in trauma work, supporting you to gently process difficult experiences and understand how they may still be affecting you.
I take an integrative, evidence-based approach, drawing on Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), psychodynamic and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), tailored to you.
I offer both short-term, focused therapy and longer-term, in-depth work. I also support people struggling with their relationship with food, body image, or patterns of control, in a way that feels safe, non-shaming, and manageable.
